Thank you for taking your time to look at my website, let me introduce myself to you...
My name is Vici Byrne I live in Worthing, West Sussex with my husband, Rob. We have two beautiful girls between us.
I'll tell you a little about me so you don't feel like your inviting a stranger into your home.
I moved to Sussex at the age of 12, so have lived in Worthing all my adult life and very fond of the area, with my love of the outdoors it's a great place to be... Twix sea and down.
I have many interests including Acrylic Painting of Seascapes and Motorcycling
I'm pet friendly ,tidy up after myself and I am good with children and the elderly
"I love my work and get a real sense of pride when I've made someone look good and feel good about themselves"
My Career Path
On Leaving School at 16, I engaged in an apprenticeship at a local salon attending 'Crowns Hair Academy' (now known as Look Fantastic) once a week, qualifying with a NVQ in Hairdressing in 1995.
Gained an Ear piercing certificate in 1994
Trained in Theatrical Make-up, receiving a BTEC certificate in 1997.
At the grand old age of 24, when my daughter was a year old I decided to have a change in career , choosing to wander down the road of Holistic Therapy, I joined a full time course at Chichester Collage and graduated
with distinction in 2002.
I then opened my first business, renting a therapy room in Durrington, I also caught a learning bug...
Wanting to grow the range of treatments and offer my clients more services, I decided to go back to Chichester Collage and do some evening courses.
These where waxing, Beauty Consultancy and Manicure and Pedicure, finishing these courses by 2003 I carried on learning and learning and learning...
Adding body wraps, hot stone massage, Reiki and other new techniques to my ever growing treatment menu.
By 2006 I'd built up a very good client base and decided to buy my own shop, Absolute Vitality Beauty and Hair was born but after 6 years of trading, unfortunately the financial climate changed, profits fell and utility prices increased so I had no option but to close the salon.
Feeling rather deflated ,I worked in a Pub for a while but I missed the artistry of hairdressing and found employment at a salon in town, but after being self-employed for so long it was difficult to play at being 'staff'.
Then with great anticipation and nervousness I ventured out on my own again..
Vitality Hair and Beauty Mobile Services came to life in October 2014.
Thank you soo much for saving my hair, I ruined my hair by doing it myself and have been wearing a hat, I have now had some beautiful highlights, cut and other treatments and am so happy with it and wanting to show it off! She even did a wonderful cut on my husband in between, I felt very comfortable with Vici, she's a lovely lady, she has loads of experience and after seeing me hair my family are wanting to book her in to do theirs, I'll definately be booking her again
